World Guinness Book, A world Golden Book for Lebanon
In 2009, Arnaoon Village made its first step into the Guinness Book of World Records by winning the prize of the longest wedding veil. This year, Arnaoon Village is hitting a new prize: The biggest “Golden Book” in the world, which dimensions happen to be 10 times greater than those of a regular golden book. It has 3 m2 of surface, 2,5 m height, 600 pages and 800 kg of weight. This Golden Book needs also 250 signatures to win.
Under the patronage of H.E. the Minister of Tourism, Mr. Michel Pharaon, and in the presence of a number of dignitaries from North Lebanon’s political and social sphere plus all the media, this event is to take place Friday the 22nd of May 2015 at 19:00 during the wedding of Magid and Rita, the winners of the best “Love Story” competition previously organized by Arnaoon Village on facebook. This couple is granted a full wedding package going far beyond their expectations, and therefore their wedding will have the appearance of a great festival. Arnaoon Village for the Dinner and the reception area, the wedding planner (Elie Berchan), photographer (Farid Assaf), florist (Terra Flora), sound and lights (Soundtrack), Zaffeh (Afrah group), ceremony furniture (Moodz), card printing (Arly), welcome hostesses (Divas), hair and make-up (Pace et Luce), wardrobe of the couple and their witnesses (Fiordelli et Fiordelli Dona), fireworks (Lebanon Firework) and Bride’s car (Adonis rent a car).
Given that for security reasons, the British representative from Guinness Book will not be able to be present, Arnaoon Village will apply the alternative procedure for validation of the prize before sworn attendees and the press. In spite of all constraints that Lebanon suffers, Arnaoon Village call has always been dedicated to preserve the good image of the country by coming up with such supporting ideas and festivities.
